Climaton Research Co. is an R&D firm based in Fairfax, Virginia.
It focuses on the research and application of meteorology and information
technology. Activities within the company are led by highly trained
professionals (Ph.D. in Meteorology and M.S. in Computer Science).
Several research projects are ongoing including atmospheric remote
sensing, climate data analysis, information delivery system, and, most
relevantly, weather-energy relationship. The research into the
weather-energy relationship has led to the creation of the online
service "Weather and Electricity Demand Forecast for Power Professionals".
